david ruoffJuly 30, 2023Terrific boats! Very clean. This is perfect for a getaway. Kitchen was stocked with high quality cookware and gas grill. Cooked great meals. Travel on the river is amazing. We had it for four night but could easily have spent 7-10 days on this boat comfortably.

For example, the kitchen was better equipped than many Airbnb rentals I’ve stayed at. SS Rentals staff was so professional. We’ve never piloted a boat that big before. It felt intimidating until Bob walked us thru the process. Even navigating the lock was a piece of cake. The scenery and wildlife was out of this world. I just can’t say enough good things about SS Rentals or our experience.

The houseboat smelled fresh, was so clean, and the linens and beds were better than expected. The roof deck was a great place to hangout, the kitchen was well equipped, and the great room was much more spacious than we expected. What a neat weekend using the locks, navigating with barges, enjoying the scenery, and connecting with friends. I highly recommend S & S and would rent again. Thanks to Amanda, Blake, and the entire team!
